Overview

This policy covers the Project Lumina website, Shortcut API, and Web World Editor. We use information to operate the service, understand usage, respond to support requests, and prevent abuse. We do not sell personal information.

Analytics and connection information

Home, Guide, Features, and Downloads load Google Analytics to measure visits and download events. Analytics storage and advertising consent settings remain denied: Google can receive cookieless measurements, but the site does not enable Analytics cookies or personalized advertising. Measurements can include page and event information, timestamps, and browser information; Google also receives connection information when your browser contacts its servers. Our own API analytics record a timestamp, action, country, browser family, operating-system family, and referring hostname. We derive the country from the request IP in memory; these analytics records do not store raw IP addresses, full browser identifiers, full referring URLs, or world session IDs. Analytics files are size-limited and rotated; the dashboard also applies a retention window.

Our server and infrastructure providers, including Cloudflare for the public website, process connection information such as IP addresses to deliver requests and protect the service. Infrastructure logs are separate from our project analytics.

World Editor and browser storage

The editor uploads your selected world archive to our API for temporary processing. Sessions normally expire after 30 minutes of inactivity, and their files are removed during cleanup. Failed or abandoned workspaces are also cleaned up. Upload only files you own or have permission to edit.

The server temporarily holds session and rate-limit information. Your browser stores editor preferences and recent session references. Use the editor's Remove or Clear controls to release sessions, or your browser settings to clear stored data. The editor embedded in the Shortcut does not load Google Analytics.

Fonts, videos, and external links

We load the Lexend typeface from Google Fonts and embed videos through YouTube's privacy-enhanced player. These services receive connection information when your browser loads their content; YouTube receives the site's origin to identify the embedded player. Interacting with a video may involve additional processing by YouTube.

Download links may open LootLabs before Apple iCloud Shortcuts. We also link to Discord, Minecraft Wiki, and X. These services have their own privacy practices. Project Lumina no longer loads Google AdSense.

Contact and your choices

If you email us, we receive your address and message and use them to respond. You can use your browser's privacy controls to block third-party requests and clear cookies or local storage.

For questions or requests to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your request. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; contact us if you believe a child has provided it.

We update this policy when our services or data practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
