What it is

Project Lumina is a free, non-jailbreak mod menu client for Minecraft Bedrock on iOS, built with Apple Shortcuts. Originally called MCPE Toolbox for iOS, it brings resource packs, world editing, and Minecraft settings together in one menu.

The Mod Menu downloads and enables packs such as ESP, X-Ray, waypoints, and UI tweaks. The World Editor changes saved world and player data, while the Options Editor adjusts Minecraft settings. The World Editor opens inside the Shortcut and is also available separately in a browser.

Project history

1. 2019: The project began as an idea to bring some of the convenience of Android toolbox applications to iOS through Apple Shortcuts.
2. 2019–early 2022: Development was limited by older iOS file-access restrictions and the available development hardware.
3. April 2022: Testing on an iPhone 6s running iOS 15 made the required local Minecraft file actions practical.
4. Late 2022: The first public releases were published under the name MCPE Toolbox for iOS.
5. 2023–2024: The project evolved and was rebranded as Project Lumina. Options editing and the World Editor became major parts of the project.
6. 2025–2026: The browser World Editor expanded to support world settings, player records, editing sessions, and export on desktop and mobile browsers.

Independent project

Project Lumina is maintained by the independent Project Lumina team. The owner and lead developer is known publicly as riqvip. The project has also received design, development, testing, moderation, and resource-pack contributions from community members over time.

Intended audience and use

Lumina uses resource packs and file editing, not memory injection or a modified Minecraft app. We recommend single-player worlds, and our official videos demonstrate the project in local worlds.
